It acts as an adjustable tightening tool and is ideal for large screw joints, with pressure-sensitive surfaces such as plastic, copper, brass, stainless steel and chrome. It is also excellent for gripping, holding, pressing and bending workpieces. It has smooth jaws, for damage free installation of quality union joints made from brass, red brass or stainless steel. The zero backlash jaw pressure prevents damage to edges of sensitive components. The tool allows adjustment at the touch of a button directly on the workpiece, The parallel jaws give a more solid grip. The construction gives infinite adjustment of all widths up to the specified maximum size. The pliers wrench ensures reliable catching of the hinge bolt with no unintentional shifting.
