The world’s first 100% recycled socks, TORE socks, and even their packaging, are made from materials that would otherwise head for landfill. Textile waste and recycled PET is collected, organised, reconstituted and spun into yarn in our certified factories, coloured using non-harmful dyes and woven into new, eco-friendly socks. Each TORE triple pack of socks produced has successfully diverted 2.4 water bottles and 0.6 t-shirts away from landfill, and saved an incredible two years’ worth of drinking water (another problem for the fashion industry; it’s the world’s third latest consumer of water, and also contributes 25% of the world’s waste water).
