Bringing his expertise back to France, his family label is one of Burgundy's most loved. Chambolle-Musigny is renowned for its elegance and subtlety – and this Premier Cru wine is no different. It’s from a small village in the Côte de Nuits, the home of Burgundy’s most esteemed wines. Matthieu keeps intervention to a minimum both in the vineyard and the winery, allowing the unique terroir to present itself in the bottle. He works with nature, guided by the lunar cycle to determine timings for all winemaking decisions. His fierce attention to detail and understanding of the grape’s needs result in a delicious wine with an incredible depth of flavour. It’s rich and soft with silky tannins and fragrant notes of violets, ripe red fruits, plus hints of truffle and forest floor. Pair its complex flavours with lighter meat dishes.
